Multiple and Single Subject Preliminary Credential Checklist
After final quarter grades post, please have all of the following requirements readily available before submitting your Petition for Credential:
Health Education
Official transcript if not done at Santa Clara University, but from the following institutions: UCLA Extension, UCSD Extended Studies, or University of San Diego
CPR
Certification must follow American Heart Association or American Red Cross training guidelines and must include Infant, Child, and Adult
TPA 2 Score Report
Copy of official score results required for both Multiple Subject and Single Subject Candidates. TPA is completed during your practicum.
Additionally, the following items are required, but do not have to be resubmitted if originally submitted with your admissions application. If any of the following were not a part of your admissions application, please reach out to credentials@scu.edu
Constitution
Official transcript or Certificate of Completion
Basic Skills
Proof of meeting Basic Skills via any option provided on the CTC website
Subject Matter
CSET or Waiver form or Course Evaluation
Certificate of Clearance or Sub-Permit
Completing the Application Process
Once your Petition for Credential has been submitted and the ECP Student Services team has reviewed of all of your documents, we will recommend you for your credential. At the end of our processing time (10 business days) you are required to log on to your Educator page on the CTC website to pay and have the document issued.
