Student Clubs and Organizations

Getting involved in an ECP student organization is a powerful way to connect with peers, deepen your learning, and put ECP’s mission and values into action.

At the School of Education & Counseling Psychology, we offer student-led clubs and professional associations that:

🎓Graduate Associations

SAGE exists as a student-run club for Education students.  All Education graduate students are automatically members. SAGE is responsible for hosting events that include social activities, professional development events, speakers and other fun activities. 

GSA is a representative body of students within the Counseling Psychology Department. The GSA is responsible for programming, advocating, and conducting dialogues that represent student interests and needs. Events planned by GSA range from personal development, professional development, and community engaging activities.

✨Wellness & Creativity Clubs

Creative Haven fosters space to gain comfort and skills in expressive arts for self care and to facilitate the use of creative expression as an intervention in client work or as a way to decompress. 

 

The Professional Wellness Club focuses on self-care education and the wellbeing of ECP students through fun activities, support group meetings and faculty speaker events to facilitate a greater understanding of self-care as future professionals.

The ECP Mindfulness Club is a place for students to collectively unwind and practice mindfulness techniques through guided meditation, breathing exercises, gentle yoga postures, and group discussion. This club is open to all abilities and experiences.

🌍ECP Affinity Clubs

Our Affinity Clubs (listed below) serve as important spaces for fostering community, understanding, and support for various identities and experiences within our School. These clubs aim to build stronger, more inclusive communities within ECP. Our current Affinity Clubs continue to grow as more students express interest.
