Kate earned her M.A. in Counseling Psychology from SCU in 2006 and became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in 2010.  While working in private practice, Kate went on to become a certified psychoanalyst and also earned her doctorate in psychology of psychoanalysis from the Psychoanalytic Institute of Northern California. Kate also has an M.B.A. from Cornell University and a B.A. from Smith College. Kate teaches Psychology of Group Counseling and Psychology of Relationships in the CPSY program. She also coordinates the training lab groups and is the clinical supervisor for the lab group faculty. In addition to her work in the CPSY program and her private practice, Kate volunteers for the Psychoanalytic Institute of Northern California as a board director, candidate advisor, and Early Career Case Conference faculty member.
