Advisory Board Profiles

Mark Pedrazzi

Mark Pedrazzi is retired from BAE Systems where he was the Vice President of Engineering for Platforms & Services.  He has over 38 years of experience in the defense industry managing programs, new product design engineering and development, concept and systems integration, vehicle platform testing, and prototyping, as well as program and functional engineering.

 

Mark is a Life Member of both NDIA (National Defense Industrial Association) and SAE International, formerly the Society of Automotive Engineers.  He has held numerous leadership positions within SAE International at the local, regional, and international levels.

 

Mark received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University in 1981 and he has been actively involved with Santa Clara University since graduation.  He was responsible for introducing the SAE student design competitions into the senior engineering design program.  Mark was a previous member of the SCU Engineering Alumni Board (EAB) and he has been an active member of Santa Clara University’s Mechanical Engineering Industry Advisory Board (MEIAB) for several years.

 

Mark and his wife, Sabra, have three children. Mark is an automotive enthusiast and an active participant and member in local car clubs.
