Staff Profiles

Genesis joined Santa Clara University in 2026 as an LMS Administrator and Instructional Technologist. Bringing a strong foundation in both classroom teaching and higher education technology, she began her career in K-12 as a bilingual teacher before transitioning into instructional design at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Most recently at UC Santa Cruz Extension, Genesis specialized in faculty development, designing comprehensive training sessions and instructional resources. She earned a B.S. in Liberal Studies with a minor in Spanish from Cal Poly SLO and holds an M.Ed. with a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from UCLA.
