Nolan Lopez graduated from Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix Arizona with a multitude of academic and athletic achievements such as National Merit Finalist, National AP Scholar, National Hispanic Scholar, and 3-year letterman in Baseball. In 2018, he was awarded 3rd place in the Arizona State Science and Engineering Fair for a project entitled,
“Quantification of Human Brainwaves in Response to Various Emotional Stimuli”. In addition, Nolan served four years on the Swift Youth Foundation Teen Board and Carnival Committee where he helped to organize and direct after-school and overnight camp programs for at-risk youth in low-income school districts within the Phoenix-area. Nolan credits Swift Youth Foundation for his most formative high-school experiences as it helped him to focus his passion for social equity within his local community. While at Santa Clara University, Nolan hopes to continue this passion for justice as an Economics major and member of the baseball team.
