She spent all four years in her school’s student leadership program where she garnered the titles of Social Activities Commissioner, Community Relations Commissioner, and Student Body Secretary. Outside of leadership she was also a member of the National Honors Society, was the president of her school’s American Sign Language club , and was her school’s designated Girl’s State Delegate. Outside of school, Sydney spent six years as a member of the youth advisory board at The Let it Be foundation, a local charity in her community dedicated to providing a sense of normalcy in the lives of children and their families diagnosed with life threatening pediatric illnesses. Through seeing the trials and tribulations that these families endured Sydney has become inspired to pursue a career that allows her to help in the progression towards a cure. Sydney is incredibly honored to be a Johnson Scholar and can not wait to be a part of the Bronco family!
