I will be watching and listening to the rhetoric from Donald Trump and to see if his language begins to shift and moderate on several key policy issues from immigration, to foreign policy and terrorism. I will be keen to watch what he says about Syria our effort against ISIS and Russia as well as how his language about blacks, women and Muslims begins to adjust as we move towards November.

The same applies to Hillary Clinton. I will be watching closely to see if she dramatically changes her position on key progressive issues that she staked a claim on as she fought against Bernie Sanders. I suspect she will begin to shift increasingly back to the center with hopes of attracting more independents.

It will also be interesting to see who they choose as their running mate. The vice president pick as well as their top advisors can be very telling about the type of policies they are likely to pursue as president.
