Chris Harris, Jr. (he/him/his)

Director, Office for Multicultural Learning, Campus Climate & Belonging

Chris Harris is a University of Michigan graduate whose career has intentionally centered social mobility through education and social justice. He has extensive project management and youth advocacy experience in nonprofit, state government, classroom instruction and K-12 district spaces. Chris relocated to Santa Clara, CA in June 2021 and in May 2023, was named Director, Office for Multicultural Learning, Campus Climate & Belonging at SCU.

 

Bernell Nevil (he/him/his)

Associate Director, Office for Multicultural Learning

Bernell Nevil is originally from New Orleans, LA. Bernell attended Washington University in St. Louis for his undergraduate degree in Human Resources and Psychology. After graduating from WashU, Bernell attended Michigan State University and received his master's degree in Student Affairs Administration. Bernell spent five years at John Carroll University as an Area Coordinator in the Office of Residence Life. Bernell most appreciates the focus on reflection, social justice, and holistic development in Jesuit higher education. Bernell started working in the Office for Multicultural Learning at Santa Clara University in May 2019. In his spare time, you can find Bernell attending a Broadway musical, watching Survivor, posting food pics as #ChefBernie, or catching up on the lastest Oscar-contending movie.

 

Casey Robertson (she/her/hers)

Office Manager, Office for Multicultural Learning

Casey Robertson earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Prior to joining SCU in 2017, she worked in the financial services industry where she developed a passion for personal finance and investing. Casey cares deeply about our students and hopes that every Bronco who arrives on campus feels a deep sense of belonging. Outside of work, she enjoys a good joke, hearty laughs with friends and family, hiking, gardening, traveling, and exploring international cuisine.
