Below is the Virtual and In-Person Schedule for Open House 2022

We will be offering the following sessions for you to learn more about Santa Clara University and the wonderful academic, co-curricular, network, and opportunities for you all! Please note those that are required pre-registration and those that do not. As a reminder for indoor spaces- we strongly recommend wearing masks regardless of vaccination status. 

Our virtual sessions will be held on Bronco Exchange in the Events section! More Virtual Options will be posted in the following week.

Learn why the Leavey School of Business was named Top 25 in the nation for undergraduate business. Hear from current students, faculty and staff about the academic curriculum and exciting opportunities available at the business school.

Learn about opportunities to accompany communities near and far through the Ignatian Center's Immersion and Fellowship programs. Deepen your understanding of solidarity and social justice and what it means to be people for and with others through our community-engaged learning programs.

The School of Engineering will showcase the variety of undergraduate programs, services and opportunities available to Bronco engineers supporting their academic and professional endeavors. Join our faculty and students as they share their Santa Clara experiences and answer participant questions throughout this session demonstrating how we are "Engineering with a Mission."

Common Application Review with an SCU Admission Counselor

Join Zucel Aguilar, Associate Director of Admission, as she goes over what SCU Admission Counselors look for and review in an application to Santa Clara University. This is a great opportunity especially for students applying Early Action and Early Decision I. Q/A about admission and application tips to follow.

Planning for college expenses is one of the biggest financial investments that a family can undertake. This session offers an overview of the financial aid process, discusses types of aid, and focuses on the appropriate financial aid applications. Pre-Registration required.

Come learn more about the transfer process at Santa Clara University. We will cover topics such as recommended coursework, transferable credit, application deadlines, etc. Join us to learn everything you need to know about transferring to SCU. Pre-Registration required.

This session will discuss why ethnic diversity matters in the field of STEM and how you can be an advocate of change no matter where you go. What resources should you be looking for? What clubs? What internships, etc.? Join us to hear from an admission counselor and current students navigating this process at SCU. Pre-Registration required.

Mock Application & Tips to Stand Out (45 mins)

Have you ever wondered how admission counselors review an application? Join us as we review fictitious applications and get a deeper understanding of what admission counselors look for, what are common mistakes, and how to best organize your application. We will go over the different elements of the college application and talk about what you can do to make your applications stronger and help you stand out. Pre-Registration required.

Campus Ministry & The College Experience (25 mins)

SCU Campus Ministry fosters the spiritual lives of students, acknowledging that engagement with faith is integral to developing whole persons inspired to build a more just, humane and sustainable world. Career Center & the Silicon Valley (25 mins)

In this presentation, you will learn about the many resources, events and services available to Santa Clara University students to support their career and professional development. Additionally, you'll learn how you can engage with Silicon Valley employers through our career fairs, company visits, and networking opportunities. Session led by executive director Dylan Houle.
