Philippe Doherty played basketball at Santa Clara University from 1995-1997 under the legendary coach Dick Davey. During which time he was a member of two WCC championship Teams. The 1995-96 team advanced to the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament. After graduation he acted as the Director of Operations at Prolific Prep, a basketball academy that provides a unique opportunity for serious student-athletes to be immersed in an environment of basketball training accompanied by accredited high school academics. Doherty was the program’s first official head coach in the program’s inaugural year 2014-2015. He also helped develop Jared Cunningham (2012 1st Round NBA Draft), NBA lottery pick Marquese Chriss (8th overall June 2016 NBA draft) and Josh Jackson (4th overall 2017 NBA Draft) to name a few.
