Marlon Garnett was a SCU standout in the mid-1990s. He was the second-leading scorer in his sophomore and junior seasons, named All-WCC First Team in 1994-95, and an Honorable Mention in 1995-1996. During his senior season, he led the team in scoring, averaging 17.4 points per game. That season he was also named WCC Player of the Year and an All-WCC First-Team Selection. He currently ranks top-10 in school history in career three-point percentage (39.8%), three-pointers made (217) and three-pointers attempted (528), and ranks top-25 in career scoring with 1,346 points. After graduating from Santa Clara, Garnett played with the Boston Celtics before playing professionally in Europe for 13 years. Garnett has also had a very successful coaching career, working with the San Antonio Spurs, Phoenix Suns, and the Atlanta Hawks.
