Scott Gradin was inducted into the Hall of Fame for his contributions to Santa Clara men’s basketball as an assistant coach. During his career, the Broncos went to 3 NCAA tournaments and were two-time WCC Champions. This team shocked the nation in 1992-93. Led by first-year head coach Dick Davey, the Broncos finished 3rd in the WCC, won the conference tournament, and earned a trip to the NCAA tournament. At the tournament the 15th-seeded Broncos upset the No. 2 seed Arizona, marking only the second time a No. 15 seed had upset the No. 2 seed in the NCAA tournament.
