Amna Yusuf earned her first MA in English from the University of the Punjab, Pakistan, with a focus on Elizabethan and Victorian British Literature. She earned another MA in English and Comparative Literature from San Jose State University. Amna focused on rhetoric, composition, and nonfiction writing this time. She also acquired a certificate in Professional and Technical Writing. Her academic interests include rhetorical strategies, political discourse, performative communication, opinion, and argumentative writing. Amna has previously taught First-Year Writing and Critical Thinking and Writing courses at San Jose State University.
