To continue our tradition of excellence, History majors and minors can now apply for grants to cover costs associated with their research projects such as mileage/gas to libraries, parking fees, photocopying and other related expenses—even airfare and accommodations in special cases. History Internships!
The History Department seeks to identify internship opportunities for course credit. The first position we’ve identified, offered during Spring quarter 2018, even includes a stipend!
The Santa Clara Valley Science and Engineering Fair Association (SCVSEFA), seeks a History student to compile an oral, video, photo, timeline history of this organization.
Prerequisites for applicants include completion of HIST101 and Junior or Senior status. Time commitment is ten hours per week for 5-6 weeks at the beginning of the quarter. For more information, contact Dr. Matthew Newsom Kerr mnewsomkerr@scu.edu
