Event Security Services

Campus Safety's mission is to use all its resources to keep the campus community as safe as possible, and to provide service to the campus community.

Campus Safety Services can assist you in planning your special events.  

We charge a flat rate of $75 per hour for each CSS officer.  Certain events may require additional police (SCPD) services or outside private security to be present to provide for a safe and secure environment.  If SCPD or outside private security is being hired for your event, you will be billed separately.  A minimum of 5 business day notice is required to request security services; and a one business day notice is required to cancel/postpone the security request.
