As Director, Iliana oversees all aspects of the thriving Neighbors program, including strategy development and execution, partnership development, resource management, and personnel oversight. In addition, Iliana is responsible for developing formation programming for students across all community engagement programming.
Iliana holds a Bachelor degree from the Sorbonne University in Paris, France, and a M.A in Social Business from Mondragon Unibertsitatea in Spain. She has focused her 15+ years professional career on creating positive social change through social development, economic inclusion and EdTech. Iliana has worked for the Mexican government, social businesses, non-profits, and universities, in the US and Latin America. Iliana is passionate about building bridges and common languages for people who traditionally don’t work together. She is convinced that we can all bring perspective, knowledge and value to achieve common goals to make the world a better place.
In her personal life, Iliana enjoys being with her family, traveling, meeting new people, gastronomy, and photography. She moved from Mexico to the Bay Area with her family in 2019.
