Chris Nulk
Database Admin Programmer, Technology Support Services

Chris was an undergraduate at Santa Clara, served in the military, and returned to Santa Clara to get his Masters degrees. He manages the Mailman list distribution server and oversees the eight main university distribution lists, the deployment of the PC Replacement Program, researches new technologies and technologies used by SCU to enhance support and services to the university community, and provides high to low level technical support to all university members as needed. In his tenure here, Chris created and implemented the very first university-wide calendar; researched, tested, and implemented the university's use of the World Wide Web; designed and oversaw the implementation of the university's web presence from one web server to a fault-tolerant setup using multiple redundant web servers with a staging web server and supporting databases servers; and served as the first unofficial university webmaster.

Outside of work, Chris is learning to play the ukulele (slowly), enjoys working on small electronic projects and traveling.
