Computer Use Policy
Library computers are provided for research & academic work and priority is given to Santa Clara University students, faculty, and staff for educational purposes.
Due to high demand, visitors and guests are granted computer access limited to two hours per day and a computer guest registration, with photo ID, is required. Limitations may also be placed on database access to non-affiliates based on vendor contracts and license agreements. Special arrangements for visiting scholars are available; please see the Library Help Desk for more information.
- Priority is given to Santa Clara University students, faculty and staff.
- Non-SCU individuals must complete a brief registration process at the Library Help Desk before using any computer.
- There is a 2-hour per day time-limit for Non-SCU individuals for "sit down" computers along the wall on the 1st Floor.
- These computers may not be used for commercial purposes or in violation of copyright, license agreements, or other Federal / State laws or policies of Santa Clara University.
