Group Study Rooms

Students, faculty, and staff may reserve the collaborative rooms.

About Room Reservations

All room reservations can be made at: www.scu.edu/rooms. Reservations must be made with your SCU ID.

The rooms are intended solely for use by members of the Santa Clara University community. Room reservations can be made by students, staff or faculty.

You can reserve up to four hours per day in any combination of times, for example one four hour block, two two hour blocks, etc.

You can reserve rooms up to seven days in advance.

Reservations made online must be confirmed within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time by touching the "Start" button that will be displayed on the tablet located near the door, or you will lose your reservation and the room can be booked by another person. 

You can also check in online up to 2 hours in advance at www.scu.edu/rooms.

If a room is available, you can claim it in person by pressing the “Start Now” button on the tablet outside the room.

These rooms are a resource shared by the entire Santa Clara community. Please clean your room when you're finished: 

  • wipe off the white board, 
  • straighten the furniture,
  • remove your trash.

Study rooms are supplied with a table and 6-8 chairs and a white board and EXPO markers (more are available at the Library Help Desk). Digital screens can be connected to your device via an HDMI cable. These are available for check out at the library Help Desk. 

Do not move furniture in or out of the room.
