A requirement of my minor in Retail Studies requires me to partake in a retail related
internship over the summer before my senior year. I accepted an offer to intern as a
Sourcing Strategist Intern with Albertsons, Inc. this summer. In order to receive the 1 unit credit for my minor, I will be required to enroll in BUSN 198 (also listed as MKTG 198) during the summer session.
In the future, I would like to work in corporate marketing, ideally for the skincare/ beauty industry. One of the most important skills to have is knowing how the supply chain operates and can influence the other departments in a corporation. I hope this internship will give me a solid background on supply chain operations so I will be able to use my experience to further my career in the future.
