Although I am expected to help in all aspects of this program, I look forward to planning parent-child classes which are focused on public health and education. In this internship, I will have the opportunity to play role in engaging families from diverse, high risk communities in fun and educational activities to promote health and early learning and prepare children for school.
I expect that I will be able to assist in the development of the parent-child enrichment
programs. It will be an interesting experience as these programs involve classes not just for the children but also for their families. I hope to be able to strengthen my communication skills, particularly when working with parents and children that will help me in my future career.
