Communication and Spanish major, Class of 2020
This trip will advance my career goals in the sense that diversity and social justice are my greatest passions. This trip will hopefully provide me with a greater outlook and physical outlet to help the world in a tangible way. As a Communication and Spanish major, this trip falls directly into what I am studying because I will be able to practice my Spanish in a social setting outside of the classroom. A chance to expose ourselves
to the distinct culture through arts, food, and interactions with others is what I am excited for. As an avid writer, I would like to keep a journal of my daily experiences and perhaps write something for the Santa Clara newspaper.
