Santa Clara Offers Winter Start Option
Students applying to Santa Clara University will have an additional opportunity to join our community with an option to apply for a Winter Quarter start. The application is now open via Common Application. Students may apply as a first-year or transfer student.
Applications for Winter 2021 are due October 1. Any applications submitted after the deadline will be considered on a space available basis.
Students who apply for Winter quarter start will receive their admission decision by mid-November.
"Today's high school graduate is seeking opportunities that provide flexibility to begin their higher education journey; therefore, offering a Winter quarter start makes the SCU experience accessible to more students who plan an alternative path for their learning journey,” said Becky Konowicz, Interim Dean of Admission at Santa Clara University.
Some additional information to consider for those interested in Winter start:
- Applicants must be high school graduates.
- Final admission decisions for Winter 2021 applicants will be released by mid-November.
- Those seeking financial aid must submit their FAFSA by October 1 to be considered for need-based aid.
