About Swimming At SCU

The Santa Clara Swimming welcomes all levels of swimmers! Our practices offer challenging swim workouts created by our own swimmers (maybe even you!), as well as a chance to create new connections with other students of similar interests. As a club, we compete with various University swim programs in the region, including CCS Nationals.

As a club team, we practice five times a week from Monday to Friday. The practice times are determined by student availability each quarter but are usually anywhere from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Our practices are 90 minutes long but may be longer or shorter depending on the workout for the day. We also participate in various swim meets such as ones at UC Davis, Stanford, and UCLA. As always, they are optional but we highly recommend you attend! We want all of our swimmers to enjoy the full experience of club swimming, both on and off campus. There are typically 1-2 meets per quarter and our own meet during the Spring quarter at the Sullivan Aquatic Center as well. Our continuous goals are to meet new swimmers and create new bonds, while fostering more National's qualifiers each season.

Before joining club swim, there are a couple of forms that you have to fill out. They will all be found in the Officer's Corner. To find Officer's Corner, follow this link. In addition to the forms, there are some initial dues that will have to be paid though Cashnet (also in Officer's Corner), in order to compete, participate in team activities, and to practice.
