Dr. Fox uses conservation of angular momentum to explain common motorcross dynamics.

Dr. Geoffrey Fox recently had two videos air on NBC Sports. In these videos that were filmed at one of our labs at SCDI, Dr. Fox uses conservation of angular momentum to explain common motorcross dynamics. Dr. Fox is a lifelong supporter of SCU Physics department.  He received a B.S. degree in Physics from Santa Clara University in 1962. In 1967 he received a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He later joined the Physics faculty at SCU where he taught introductory courses for scientists and engineers for three years. At that point Dr. Fox left academia and entered the business world founding Fox Head, Inc. After 40 years of growing the company with the help of his brother, wife and kids, Dr. Fox reignited his interest in physics and has even returned to SCU as a guest lecturer. Dr. Fox was elected to the American Motorcycle Association Hall of Fame in 2009.
