The Resource Room is a collaborative project sponsored by the Women's & Gender Studies Program, the Ethnic Studies Program, and the Office for Multicultural Learning.  Providing resources on a number of different topics and themes, including gender, race/ethnicity, sexual identity, age, disability, and socio-economic class, the Resource Room functions as a place for personal, professional, and academic research. Students may check out books from the Resource Room.  A complete list of the books can be found on Oscar, the SCU library catalog. Additionally, the room is a welcoming space for studying, events, meetings, and intellectual engagement.  In order to enhance the missions of the sponsoring departments, the purpose of the Resource Room is to enrich the educational experience by providing specialized resources, services, and support. The Resource Room provides a safe and welcoming space for the Santa Clara community in an atmosphere of constant respect and open-mindedness.
