Alicia has embarked on her journey to become a lawyer, starting law school at Seattle University.

After graduating from Santa Clara with degrees in WGST and Political Science, Alicia interned at Fenwick & West, supporting the firm's operations and DEI endeavors. Subsequently, she joined Morrison & Foerster and worked in the patent department, helping companies like Mars, Driscolls, and UCSF protect their intellectual property. In August 2022, Alicia embarked on her journey to become a lawyer and started law school at Seattle University. Currently, she is a member of the Women's Law Caucus and Family Law Society, and she conducts research alongside her professor in plain language law to make the legal system more accessible. Alicia also participates in the Domestic Violence Practicum, where law students like herself aid domestic and intimate partner violence survivors in acquiring protective orders. This summer, she will intern for Equinox Law Group to gain experience in corporate law, entrepreneurship, and business law. Throughout all of her academic and professional pursuits, she carries her feminist toolkit, an intersectional perspective, and an ethic of care, all of which she honed in her WGST classes.
