The Education AI (EdAI) team provides a foundation for future research in education and AI by addressing the crucial understanding of how a core demographic of students views new technology, which is essential for shaping future educational environments. Their project compares implicit and explicit data to highlight potential biases in how students perceive and use ChatGPT, specifically examining whether these perceptions influence their use in ways considered cheating or not.
