Population

 

Data are as of census and are presented by application admissions status.

Includes:

  • Early decision, early action, and students who began studies during summer in the cohort. 
  • Applicants who fulfilled the requirements for consideration in admission and have been notified of one of the following actions: admission, non-admission, placement on waiting list, or application withdrawn (by applicant or institution).

Function

  The Retention and Completion Rates visualization provides an in-depth view of the retention and completion rates for undergraduates and graduates among the selected range of cohort years.

Special Notes

 
  • The total may include students who did not provide gender data, the detail does not need to sum to the total. 

 

Population

 

Data are as of census and are presented by entering cohort year.

Includes:

Excludes:

  • Partial test scores (e.g., mathematics scores but not critical reading for a category of students).
  • Other standardized test results. 

Function

  The visualization displays the percent and number of first-time, first-year students enrolled in fall who submitted national standardized test scores for the SAT and ACT. 

Special Notes

 
  • If a student submitted multiple sets of scores for a single test, the highest combination of scores from each submission is recorded.

  The visualization displays the 25th and 75th precentile scores and score distributions of first-time, first-year, fall-entering students.

  • The 75th percentile score refers to the score that 25 percent scored at or above.
