2020 Art History Student Research Symposium

2019-20 Art History Student Research Paper Prize

This year we had a record number of submissions (18!), with papers read by a committee of six Art History faculty who have very different areas of specialization (i.e. tough crowd!). Thank you to all of these students for putting the time and effort into submitting these excellent papers during a moment of great anxiety and uncertainty. It should also be noted that some of these papers were completed at the end of the winter quarter and the start of shelter-in-place and closing of the university -- no small accomplishment!

Congratulations to all of the our students for their submissions. We certainly hope to see more from them in the future.
