Dr. Terry Beers teaches a variety of subjects, including courses in writing and American literature. His research interests include modern American writing—especially the works of California poet Robinson Jeffers—and the California social novel. Beers was the general editor for the California Legacy Series of books and the director of Santa Clara University's California Legacy Project (2000-2013).
