Shenir Dennis is an English major and one of our Canterbury recipients for the 2021-2022 school year. Her research project, "'We're Just As Valuable As Other Students': Connecting the Past of Activism Among Students of Color at SCU to the Present" focuses on the challenges students of color face while engaging in advocacy work at our University. She conducted this research under the mentorship of Allia Griffin (Ethnic Studies) and Danielle Morgan (English).
