On November 12, 2014, the Senate of the United States officially recognizedOctober 20 as the National Day on Writing. In doing so, the bipartisan pair of sponsors (Sen. Casey, D-PA and Sen. Roberts, R-KS) recognized that Writing matters profoundly. Moreover, digital writing matters.
In this presentation, I’ll demonstrate how digital writing matters, sharing student work constructed within a vertical writing curriculum.
We’ll talk about pedagogical practices as well as implications beyond our classrooms to help us imagine how digital writing can matter at Santa Clara University.
