The Music Department welcomes all transfer students to the music program. Given that the full curriculum for the music major would require at least three years to complete, it is necessary for junior transfer students to have taken some classes in music theory, aural skills, and music history or literature. It is possible to complete the music minor in two years. Any student contemplating a transfer to Santa Clara’s Music Department should contact the department chair to discuss the process and the transfer of credits.
