Jeff Hanson

Jeff Hanson is a drummer and sound designer who is originally from the Bay Area. He studied music and liberal arts at CSU Northridge where he performed with the top jazz orchestra. He toured with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Englebert Humperdinck, Siavach – Persian pop artist, Rejoice Gospel Ensemble, Holland-America and Seabourn cruise lines. He received his master’s degree in Music & Studio Arts at San Jose State University, in which he investigates the ghost works of Morton Subotnick and their contribution to the world of sound art and electronic music technologies. Primary fields of interest include film scoring, sound design, jazz, and Brazilian musical traditions.
