Abigail Alvarez, is a Political Science and Spanish double major, Women's and Gender Studies minor and the SCU student body president.  In addition to student government, Abby is a labor rights activist and organizer on campus. She has helped mobilize SCU service workers in the fight for a living wage and good working conditions.  She also raised $30K in emergency funds for service workers who lost their jobs during the pandemic. She also leads violence-prevention initiatives on campus, including the creation of SCU SafeWalk and the #SCUMETOO movement.
