Class of 2028 First Year Immersion Bay Area
Class of 2028  |  Bay Area Immersion
San Francisco | San Jose

Immersion Dates: September 15 - 20, 2024
Cost: $250
Move In Date: Morning of September 15

The First Year Immersion (FYI) is designed to help incoming students connect with the local community while getting to know fellow Broncos. We believe that all new SCU students should feel welcome, supported, and empowered in their new community, and we want to give them the tools they need to do that prior to the start of the academic year!

The first-year Immersion is a five-day program where new SCU students get to explore the city of San Jose or San Francisco and the people who are working hard to make their city a better place. You will learn about social justice issues and meet with community leaders and organizations in the Bay Area while exploring the area. This is a great place to build friendships with new classmates and deepen your understanding of SCU’s Jesuit tradition of holistic community-engaged education and give back to your new community. You also get to move in early ;)

We hope you'll join us!
