Transfer Peer Mentors and Educators support our new transfer students throughout their first year at Santa Clara University. Peer mentors create community during LEAD Week, meet regularly with their mentees throughout their first year and plan activities for their mentoring groups. Transfer peer educators are a source of support and information in the Advanced LEAD Seminar class that introduces transfer students to SCU resources and leadership opportunities.

LEAD Transfer Peer Mentors & Educators

Crisol Padilla
Transfer Peer Educator

Hi, my name is Crisol Padilla. I'm from Santa Clara. I am a transfer rising senior studying biology as my major and biotechnology as my minor. My favorite class(es) that I've taken at SCU so far has been Genetics (BIOL 110) and Social and Ethical Dimensions of Biotechnology (BIOL 171) (Couldn't pick just one). A few fun facts about me: I draw as a hobby (I have a few sketchbooks filled), I like to read, and I'm really good at playing speed. In addition to LEAD, I'm also part of Ballet Folklórico!
