Dictation

Dictation tools, also referred to as speech-to-text (STT), convert your spoken speech into digital text.

These tools are essential for people with mobility or dexterity impairments or who may experience pain from conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome. These tools can also be helpful if you have a temporary impairment like a broken arm or simply find it easier to dictate rather than type.

Dictation tools are built in by default to many of the operating systems and programs you may be using. Here are a few options for dictation that you may wish to try.
