For Employees

The Office of Equal Opportunity and Title IX provides a virtual and asynchronous training for staff and faculty regarding the prevention of unlawful discrimination and sexual harassment issues. The University, in compliance with state and federal law, requires all employees to undergo this training at the beginning of their employment and then every two years.

This course, Preventing Harassment & Discrimination: Supervisors + Clery Act and Title IX (California), should take about 235 minutes to complete, although the course should save your progress if you need to stop and return later. The training provides practical tips on creating a safe, inclusive environment for work, including safe and positive bystander intervention options. Filled with engaging, interactive exercises, it covers all aspects of everyone's role in promoting a harassment and discrimination-free workplace.

When your training is due, you will receive an email from Vector Solutions. You are also able to access your assigned course using the link below:

  • SCU Employee Training
  • Click on the 'Santa Clara University SSO Login' button, which will allow you to log in using your SCU credentials (the same credentials you use to log into your MySCU Portal).

Please kindly complete the training within 30 days. If you have any questions or encounter any issues along the way, please contact

Note: not all of the previous employee completion information transferred over during this transition between training platforms, so if you have completed this training (or an in-person or Everfi training) within the last 2 years, please send your previous certificate of completion and your completion can be manually backdated.
