Angela Holzmeister to present at Feminism and the Classics VII
Lecturer Angela Holzmeister will be giving a paper at the Feminism and the Classics VII conference, hosted by the University of Washington (May 19-22, 2016). Her paper, titled “But what are they looking at?: Using Visual Media to Discuss Rape in the Classics Classroom,” explores ways that images and video clips may be used productively during lectures and discussions of rape in Classics courses.
