Yurim Kim

Yurim Kim is a Lecturer in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Santa Clara University. Her teaching includes Spanish language instruction as well as Latin American literature and culture. Before joining SCU, she taught language, literature, and culture courses at Stanford University and the University of Texas at Austin. Her broader research interests include migration, race and ethnicity, gender, and the Asian diaspora. Her current work examines representations of East Asia in Latin American modernist poetry and short fiction from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. She earned her PhD in Iberian and Latin American Cultures from Stanford University.
