What was your college experience like as a first-generation college student?
As the youngest and first in my family to get accepted and attend college, it was a lot of figuring out on my own. I did not know how to navigate college other than take classes, keep my head down, don't complain, and try to do well.
What message do you have to share with current first-generation college students?
College can feel like a big place, and it is, but you are not alone. Let others know how you're feeling because chances are we can relate, or we will know someone that can, and we will connect you with them. We are here to see you make sense of your journey and see you succeed. We are excited to be part of your journey!
