Frequently Asked Questions about Osher Online

What if I want to sign up for a course after the registration date has passed?

If you would like to sign up for a course that has not started, but the Osher Online registration deadline has passed, please reach out to the OLLI@SCU office at olli@scu.edu. We will be happy to send your information to the Business Coordinator for Osher Online at Northwestern University so they can add your name to the course waitlist. If spots open up, you will be contacted to register for the class and orientation.

Why are courses limited to only 13 people?

Osher Online courses are offered to each of the 124 Osher Institutes across the nation, and many, but not all, choose to participate in the program. Due to the large number of OLLI participants, each institute is allocated 13 slots in the online courses for its membership. The caveat is that if the other institutes do not use their allotted 13 slots in the course, the Osher Online Center may allow OLLI@SCU to add more registrations to the current course offerings.

What if I miss my initial orientation session?

If you are unable to attend the initial orientation session presented by the National Resource Center, a recording will be sent to you as soon as it is available.
