Trustee Committees

  • Executive Committee
  • Academic Affairs Committee
    • Review major academic policies and academic programs and recommend approval of substantive changes to the Board of Trustees. 
  • Athletics Committee
    • Support and monitor the University's key strategic efforts to advance the University's priorities through the intercollegiate athletic program.
  • Audit & Risk Oversight Committee
    • Assist the Board in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities with respect to quality and integrity of the University's financial reporting; the independence, qualifications and performance of the external auditor; and the University's systems of internal control and risk management. 
  • External Relations Committee
    • Provide leadership in raising funds for the University. 
  • Facilities Master Planning Committee
    • Advise on the planning for renovation and construction of facilities, and to advise to the Board policies and conditions of the campus facilities and grounds. 
  • Finance Committee
    • Recommend policies and planning priorities to the Board, review budgets and financial plans, and monitor the financial performance of the institution. 
  • Governance and Nominating Committee
    • Ensure that the Board's membership consists of highly qualified and committed individuals and evaluate the Board in the exercise of its responsibilities for institutional governance at the highest level of excellence. 
  • Investment Committee
    • Establish investment policies for the endowment fund and trusts.
  • Mission Committee
    • Help ensure that the University's mission, Bylaws and day-to-day functioning express and promote a University-wide culture of active engagement with our Jesuit, Catholic identity. 
  • Student Life Committee
    • Review policies that impact the general welfare of students and major student life programs that are not primarily academic in nature, including co-curricular programs and student support services.
