Every year Santa Clara University honors an outstanding faculty member who promotes intellectual curiosity and active learning. This year Associate Professor Andrea Pappas has been nominated for the award for her exemplary service to her students. Pappas has challenged her students to look at the world in a different perspective and to connect what they learn from course material with life outside the classroom. The nomination of Pappas for this award shows her passion for her students and the imprint she has made on them that is felt years after graduation.
