The AI Health Research Lab at the Leavey School of Business, supported by the AIM-AHEAD initiative, is dedicated to advancing the responsible use of artificial intelligence in healthcare. Our mission is to improve health outcomes by developing robust, equitable, and transparent evaluation frameworks for healthcare-specific large language models (LLMs).
Through interdisciplinary research, the lab is building tools to assess and compare the performance of LLMs in medical and clinical contexts, with a particular focus on fairness, reliability, and real-world applicability.
