Jamal updates us on the work his team has been doing for Taqueria La Mejor.

Although we have not visited our restaurant in the past week, the class has gathered a lot of useful data. Beyond just our own restaurant we have learned a lot about the surrounding San Jose area that is going to guide our improvements to Taqueria La Mejor. This past weeks’ focus was on the inequality that is present in our neighboring county.  This knowledge will help influence our recommendations to the owner, Ms. Maria Alba Tapia. Our group recognizes that there are helpful developments that we are able to make without monetary difficulties holding us back, especially with online technologies.  Next week, on Tuesday, we will be having another meeting with her to further discuss some of the changes that we plan on making for the restaurant. Our past meetings have gone smoothly, and everybody is on board to push Taqueria La Mejor to places not previously imagined!
