Keaton Lee : La Ceiba
The La Ceiba team is entering the final stretch of our two quarter long project. This week we have solidified our exact costs of materials and communicated our plans for renovation to both the Center for Employment Training as well as the owners of La Ceiba, Rufino and Casy. Both of whom are eager to begin construction.
On Monday the 9th, construction of the restaurant’s brand new patio begins. The construction will last a couple days. The result will be a dining area that is inviting for new customers and will let them enjoy the sun as we transition into the summer. La Ceiba is an already popular destination for many in the Washington neighborhood, which results in a crowded restaurant, especially on the weekends. The patio will allow La Ceiba to serve more customers as well as give them a more comfortable dining experience.
Lastly, we are finalizing our designs for La Ceiba’s new menus. The new designs are easy to read, informative, and offer high-quality pictures. Also, after analyzing sales trends on the menu, our team, Rufino, and Casy have elected to eliminate some of the less popular items. This will declutter the menu as well as help reduce the restaurant’s costs of inventory and waste. The team is excited to see all of our efforts fully implemented and watch as the business continues to grow.
